There will not be live streaming of the upcoming June 13th state trial of three former Minneapolis police officers charged with aiding and abetting the murder of George Floyd. Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill says Minnesota law does not permit it, and cites loosened COVID restrictions since a year ago when he allowed live streaming of Derek Chauvin’s trial. Judge Cahill says two reporters will be allowed in the courtroom, others can watch from an overflow area, and Floyd’s family members and a limited number of spectators will be allowed to see the trial in person.
