A farmer in Norman County is being called a hero for rescuing a man trapped in a burning S-U-V after it rear-ended a grain truck west of Borup Monday night. Austen Germolus smashed a window and pulled the man out just before the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. Sheriff Jeremy Thornton says, “If he didn’t do what he did, it would have been a fatality accident.”
40-year-old Zebulen Dickey from Georgetown was taken to a Fargo hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
