Player Notes
• Karl-Anthony Towns led the way for the Timberwolves tonight with 23 points on 10-of-19 shooting, six rebounds and two steals. Tonight marks his fourth 20+ point performance of these playoffs and his 11th 20+ point playoff game of his career. Tonight also marks Towns’ 10th career playoff game with 20+ points/5+ rebounds, tied with Anthony Edwards for the second most such games in franchise history (Kevin Garnett: 31 games).
• Rudy Gobert finished with 18 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting, a game-high 11 rebounds, two steals and two blocks, marking his fourth double-double of this postseason and his 38th career postseason double-double. Tonight marked his 507th career game (regular and postseason) with 2+ blocks, the third most such games among all active players. Gobert also became just the second player in franchise playoff history to record 2+ blocks and 1+ steal in three straight road games (Garnett; 3X MR: April 27 – May 12, 2004).
• Tonight marks Gobert’s second career playoff game with a point/rebound double-double while going perfect from the field (min. five FGA). He joins DeAndre Jordan as the only player in NBA history to record multiple such games. No player has done so more than twice.
• Anthony Edwards ended the night with 18 points, going 5-of-7 from deep and tallying a team-high and playoff career-high nine assists. Tonight marks Edwards’ eighth career playoff game with 15+ points/5+ assists and his 14th such game of this postseason.
• Edwards’ first made field goal gave him 200 made field goals in his playoff career. He becomes just the 10th player in NBA Playoff history to record 200+ made field goals before turning 23. At 22 years and 283 days old, Edwards is the eighth youngest player in NBA Playoff history to do so. Edwards achieved the feat in his 20th playoff game, becoming the fourth fastest among active players to do so.
• Making his first start of this year’s postseason (fifth career), Nickeil Alexander-Walker finished with 14 points, including 4-of-5 from three and five assists. Tonight marks his third career playoff game with 10+ points and 5+ rebounds, all of which have come during this postseason.
• In knocking down four shots from deep, Alexander-Walker becomes the second Timberwolf (Edwards) and just the 13th player in NBA Playoff history to make 2+ threes in his first five playoff starts.
• Alexander-Walker finished the first half going 3-of-3 from deep and rejecting two shots. He became the first player in franchise history to record 3+ threes without a miss and 2+ blocks in a single half of a playoff game.

Team Notes
• Led by Edwards’ playoff career-high nine assists, the Timberwolves recorded 30 assists for the first time in this postseason. Tonight marks just the third time in franchise playoff history they have recorded 30+ assists and the first time doing so since recording a franchise playoff record 32 assists on April 16, 2022, at Memphis.
