Nuggets too much for Wolves

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Denver Nuggets outscored the Minnesota Timberwolves by 14 in the first half and never looked back in a 112-100 win at the Target Center last night. Kenneth Faried (fuh-REED) led a balanced attack with 19 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks for Denver, which won for the fifth time in six games. Former Wolves player Randy Foye also had 19 points in the victory for Denver. Andrew Wiggins netted a game-high 23 points for the Wolves, who have lost three straight games, including two to the Nuggets. Zach LaVine (luh-VEEN) pitched in with 20 points off the bench in defeat. Minnesota is at New York tonight to take on the Knicks.
