Police are searching for whoever shot an off-duty firefighter at his east St. Paul home Monday night. 36-year-old Tom Harrigan suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach and later died at the hospital. Police combed through Harrigan’s home, trying to find clues as to why someone shot the fellow first responder. They do not believe the shooting was random. Harrigan served with St. Paul Fire since 2013. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information should contact authorities.
