State officials are in Crow Wing County for the second time this summer assessing storm damage to public infrastructure — this time from a July 21st thunderstorm and heavy winds August 4th. The area was still recovering from flooding caused by storms on July 11th. Governor Mark Dayton already approved state disaster assistance for that earlier storm damage. Preliminary estimates show an additional 680 thousand dollars in damage from the second and third round of storms that hit Crow Wing County.
