(St. Paul, MN) — A 66-year-old fugitive on the run for decades since escaping an Ohio prison is back in custody today (FRI) after being apprehended in St. Paul. Oscar Juarez was serving a life sentence for aggravated murder when he sawed through his prison bars and escaped from the Marion Correctional Institution in April of 1978. U-S Marshals arrested Juarez at a Pierce Street apartment last (THU) night. He’s due in court in St. Paul later today (2pm).
