There is an outpouring of community support after a fire destroyed the Adas Israel Synagogue in Monday in Duluth. Steve Hunegs with the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas says the synagogue had a long and rich history housing a congregation serving Duluth and beyond for three centuries and five generations. He says a support fund for Adas Israel has been set up by the Minneapolis and St. Paul Jewish Federations, and donations can be made on their websites. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Duluth Fire Chief Shawn Krizaj said there was no sign of an accelerant.
