Idris Hussein and Ahmed Hashi
Police say as the search began for two boys who drowned last night in Foot Lake in Kandiyohi County, a parent found one of the youth’s shoes floating in the water by the edge of the dock. It took four hours to locate the boys and Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt says E-M-S personnel did a tremendous job trying to revive them. 10-year old Idris Hussein and 11-year old Ahmed Hashi were found in shallow water but efforts to revive were unsuccessful. Felt urges parents to review water safety and rescue techniques with their children.
