Police investigating shots fired Sunday at crowded Minnehaha park picnic area

Police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired in a crowded picnic area of Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis last night. Witnesses say a car drove into a parking lot near a splash pad and pavilion where dozens of families were gathered at around 8 pm and began firing at a group of people in the park–and someone in the group returned fire. Then, both groups left the park in vehicles at high rates of speed. So far, no injuries have been reported.
