President Trump is weighing in on the St. Louis Park City Council’s recent decision to stop reciting the pledge of allegiance before its meetings. Trump tweeted this morning “outrage is growing in the Great State of Minnesota where our Patriots are now having to fight for the right to say the Pledge of Allegiance. I will be fighting with you!” Last night dozens of people showed up at a city council meeting to share frustration over the decision to stop reciting the pledge. Council members voted unanimously in favor of the change, calling it an issue of diversity.
