President Trump, at western Wisconsin rally, predicts “red wave” next Tues

October 27, 2020 By Bill Werner

President Donald Trump at a rally in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area this afternoon predicted a big win for his campaign in next week’s election. “You’re gonna see a giant red wave on Tuesday,” Trump said. “You’re gonna see a red wave like they’ve never seen before and they saw a very big one — I’ll tell you what, they got a glimpse… four years ago.”

The president told cheering supporters in West Salem, Wisconsin if you murder a police officer, you should get the death penalty. Trump blasted the response to riots in Minneapolis and said “we saved Kenosha” by sending in the National Guard. The latest U-W Madison poll finds Trump trailing Democratic challenger Joe Biden by nine points.
