New information is surfacing following the death of Prince. Minneapolis attorney William Mauzy tells the “Star Tribune” that on the day he died, Prince was scheduled to meet with Dr. Howard Kornfeld, a California doctor who specializes in opioid addiction. Kornfeld’s son Andrew who also works at Recovery Without Walls in Mill Valley, flew to Minnesota the day before his father to go over how the confidential treatment would work. When Kornfeld arrived at Paisley Park, Prince’s representatives could not find him. A few minutes later, Kornfeld and the two reps found the music icon collapsed in an elevator. Kornfeld is the one who made the 911 call from Paisley Park.
