Radinovich wins DFL primary for U-S House in 8th District

August 15, 2018 By Bill Werner

Democrat Joe Radinovich bested four challengers with over 44 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s primary election — and will be up against Republican Pete Stauber in November for U-S House in Minnesota’s 8th District. Radinovich says, “So many of us know very clearly what the policies are that will help to rebuild the middle class, and yet on the other hand special interests have a run on Washington D-C and they’ve been able to block progress.

Republicans hope to win the 8th District U-S House seat now that Democratic Congressman Rick Nolan is retiring. President Trump and Vice President Pence have both made trips to Duluth this summer to campaign for Republican candidate Stauber.
