Player Notes
• Julius Randle led the way for the Timberwolves tonight in New Orleans, finishing with a game-high 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting, including 2-of-3 from deep and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. Tonight marked Randle’s 10th 25+ point game of the season (185th career). He added nine rebounds on the night, marking his ninth 25+ point/5+ rebound game of the season (177th career).
• With his three-pointer at the 4:35 mark of the first quarter, Randle surpassed 14,000 career points (currently at 14,021). He becomes the third player to score his 14,000th career point with the Timberwolves, joining Kevin Garnett (Nov. 16, 2004 vs. Miami) and Rod Strickland (Jan. 18, 2003 at Portland).
• In 32:40 minutes of action off the bench, Naz Reid ended tonight’s game with 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-9 from three, seven rebounds and a team-high six assists. Tonight marked Reid’s second straight 15+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game and second of the season (seventh career). He becomes the second Timberwolves player to have 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists in consecutive games off the bench (Tom Gugliotta from Feb. 26-28, 1995).
• Tonight marked Reid’s 62nd career game off the bench with 3+ made threes, more than double the number of games as any other Wolves player all-time (Malik Beasley – 30).
• Reid’s ended tonight’s game with a team-high six assists and finished with six dimes against the Pelicans on Tuesday. Prior to these last two games, he did not have more than four assists in any of the first 20 games he played this season.
• Rudy Gobert finished tonight’s game with 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting and a game-high 12 rebounds, his ninth double-double of the season (485th career). Gobert has 12+ rebounds in each of his last seven road games, the longest streak by any player in the NBA on the road this season.
• With his 12 rebounds on the night, tonight marked Gobert’s 26th career game against the Pelicans with 10+ boards, the most such games against New Orleans all-time.
Most Games vs. Pelicans with 10+ Total Rebounds – All-Time

• Jaden McDaniels stuffed the stat sheet tonight, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. Tonight marked McDaniels’ first career 10+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist/2+ block/2+ steal game and becomes the 25th player in team history to have such a game.
Team Notes
• Per Elias Sports Bureau, Donte DiVincenzo’s layup at the five second mark was the fastest “first scores” (FG or FT) by Minnesota at 11:55 or earlier of the first in any game (regular season or postseason) since play-by-play tracking began in 1997-98.
• Tonight marked the second time this season that Timberwolves had seven players in double figures in a game this season (also Nov. 9 at Sacramento).
• The Wolves outscored the Pelicans 37-26 in the fourth quarter of tonight’s game. The 37 points scored in the fourth quarter tonight are their most points scored in any final frame this season
• Led by Reid’s season-high-tying six assists, Minnesota dished out 30 assists on the night, the eighth time this season with 30+ dimes. The Wolves move to 6-2 when doing so and have won four straight games when dishing out 30 or more assists.
