Randy Moss on Hall of Fame honor, Denny Green and more (AUDIO)

February 3, 2018 By Scott Peterson

Former Viking Randy Moss is going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Moss became only the second wide receiver this century to be elected to the Hall his first time on the ballot. Jerry Rice was the other. Ray Lewis, Terrell Owens,  Brian Dawkins and Brian Urlacher were also voted into the Hall of Fame along Senior finalists Robert Brazile and Jerry Kramer.  Former general manager Bobby Beathard was voted in as a contributor.  The class will be officially inducted into the Hall this August in Canton, Ohio. MNN’s Scott Peterson spoke with Moss about finding out about the announcement in Minnesota, and his gratitude to Coach Denny Green for taking a chance on him in 1998.
