Lawmakers are expected to vote today on the controversial Republican healthcare bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA). House members were supposed to vote on the measure last night but Trump and GOP leaders have struggled to secure enough votes to pass it and the vote was delayed to today. On Thursday, Democratic Congressman Rick Nolan said both sides were “anxious” ahead of the planned vote. President Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan are pushing hard for the Obamacare replacement bill, but it faces opposition from Democrats and conservative Republicans. Nolan is calling on Republicans to pull the bill and start over on a more bi-partisan measure.
