Republicans say they’re disappointed that Governor Tim Walz is not moving faster to re-open businesses in Minnesota. The governor announced that starting Monday, all customer-facing retail businesses can do curbside pickup plus delivery — and Walz adds, “If there is the potential for us to get and show that we can do this curbside right, we get people moving and we have the plans in place to allow some retail transactions inside the stores with a limited number of people, then it is our intention to do that.”
House Republican Minority Leader Kurt Daudt says Minnesota retailers are ready to safely serve customers curbside, “but if their large competitors can be open to customer traffic, our smaller retailers should be extended the same opportunity and trust by the governor.”
