Florida Sen. Marco Rubio

Republican presidential hopeful Marco Rubio in Minneapolis today (Tues) blasted President Obama’s plan to close the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, telling supporters if he’s president, the “fake war on terror” under the current administration will become a “real war on terror.”  Rubio said to a cheering crowd, “The best intelligence agencies in the world are gonna find the terrorists. The best military in the world is going to destroy the terrorists. But if we capture any of these terrorists alive, they do not have the right to remain silent. They’re not going to a court hearing in Manhattan. They’re going to Guantanamo.”  Minnesota Democratic Party Chairman Ken Martin responds Rubio is far behind Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, but his policies are no different.  Martin says all three have far-right-wing, extreme positions that are dangerous to the country.
