Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is putting out a call for help. Spokeswoman Julie Borgen says the need is “dire.” She says there are “just 12 bell ringing days left in our season and we have about two thousand fewer volunteers than we did at this time last year.”
Borgen says most of the need is in the Twin Cities area, but there is also help needed in greater Minnesota. If you’d like to help, you can visit salvationarmynorth.org.
