Members of a non-profit group will lead the search in eastern north Dakota this weekend for the body of a missing Saint Paul woman, 45-year-old Michelle Newell. Minnesota Community Policing Services Foundation spokesman David Singleton won’t reveal the exact search area. Singleton says, “We’ve narrowed down a[n] area of high probability that Miss Newell[‘s] remains may be found. We’re cautiously optimistic this weekend that we’ll get a hit on that.” An acquaintance of Newell is a suspect in her disappearance and murder. Timothy Barr was charged in Saint Paul, but the case was dismissed until more evidence is gathered.
