The House is expected to vote later today on a new Republican bill to repeal and replace Obamacare. The first House GOP healthcare bill collapsed in March with opposition from some conservative and moderate Republicans. Democratic U-S Senator Al Franken was critical of that bill, and he’s critical of this one. Franken says the bill takes away benefits from people and providing a huge tax cuts for people at the top and he adds if the bill moves forward it “is not going to pass in the Senate, I can tell you that.” Franken says another big concern is whether the bill provides enough protections for people with pre-existing conditions…
GOP leaders say they believe they now have enough votes for passage, but the margin of support appears thin.
