In the wake of yesterday’s tragic shooting at a Florida high school, President Trump says no one should feel unsafe in an American school. U-S Senator Amy Klobuchar agrees and says “everyone should feel safe in our schools, this is a place you go to learn, it’s a place where parents leave their kids off and believe that they’re going to see them at the end of the day.” Klobuchar calls what happened in Florida “every parent’s tragedy.” She says she’s reminded of what she heard about parents after the Sandy Hook shootings in Connecticut and how “they were all put in a fire station and that the kids were let in there and one by one and happy families would leave and the parents left knew that they would never see their kids again. So when I think of Florida, that’s what I think of.”
