U-S Senator and candidate for president Amy Klobuchar has not yet read the Mueller report, but she’s highly critical of Attorney General Bill Barr’s press conference this morning ahead of the report’s release and says she’s “very concerned about how the attorney general has rolled this out. He is supposed to be the people’s attorney, not the president’s attorney.” Klobuchar is also calling for Robert Mueller to appear before Congress because she says the public needs to see Mueller answer questions about the differences between his and attorney general Barr’s interpretations of the report. Barr says the report shows no collusion and no obstruction on the part of the president. Beyond various interpretations of the report, Klobuchar says she hopes it sheds light on all of the “very illegal things Russians did” to influence the U-S election in 2016.
