Reactions continue to pour in after the passing this weekend of Senator John McCain. Democratic U-S Senator Amy Klobuchar was close to McCain and says “the legacy that I want to pass on that I want to carry on for John McCain is those two things, this idea of civility and working with people across the aisle for the common good and this idea that America cannot be isolationist that we are at our best when we are willing to be strong, but work with the rest of the world.” Here is more of Senator Klobuchar on John McCain…
McCain passed away Saturday in Arizona at the age of 81. He had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer last year. McCain was the Republican nominee for President in 2008, when the party held its convention in St. Paul.
