Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says he’s “really sorry” data firm Cambridge Analytica improperly got access to data from more than 50-million people without users’ knowledge. U-S Senator Amy Klobuchar says that’s a good beginning. But she still wants him to testify before Congress about how it happened and what can be done to prevent such breaches in the future. Klobuchar says she’s “not talking about regulating the whole internet or shutting it down, we’re just saying you’ve got to follow these privacy rules, so that if someone is going to give their data to someone else, that Facebook is guaranteeing to the users of their products, just like the credit card companies would do it, that you’re not going to get ripped off .” On Wednesday, Zuckerberg said he’s willing to go before Congress.
