After years of failed attempts, Sunday liquor sales are another step closer to becoming a reality in Minnesota. The state Senate voted today (38-28) in favor of allowing Sunday liquor sales. But the bill’s author, Republican Jeremy Miller of Winona, says it’s about freedom for consumers and business owners…
The House passed its version of the bill one week ago. Governor Dayton has said if the bill reaches his desk, he will sign it. Minnesota is currently one of only 12 states that bans Sunday liquor sales.
