Senator Sheran
State Senator Kathy Sheran will not seek reelection in 2016. The Mankato-area Democrat announced yesterday her plans to retire after her third term is up. Sheran is known for combating health and social service issues during her time in office. She’s one of several lawmakers who’ve decided not to run for re-election.
