Severe weather moving across parts of Minnesota today

Severe Weather

Heavy rains, hail and high winds are all part of a weather system moving through the state today and tonight. A variety of severe weather warnings and watches are in effect across northwestern and central Minnesota and forecasters say flash flooding is possible in areas where multiple inches of rain could fall. Around Duluth, swimmers are being warned of dangerous rip currents in Lake Superior…while in the southwest corner of Minnesota there’s a heat advisory in effect this afternoon.
