Central and southern Minnesota could get an encore today of last night’s heavy rains plus hail and damaging winds. The Weather Service says central Minnesota is under a marginal risk with southern Minnesota at slight risk. Flooding is possible, particularly in low-lying areas. On Monday, areas of Morrison County received more than an inch-and-a-half of rain in an hour. Large hail an inch or greater was reported in Otter Tail, Grant, Todd and Morrison counties.
