Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the way from the Timberwolves tonight with a game-high 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, marking his 31st 25+ point game of the season (171st career). Tonight also marks Edwards’ eighth game this season with 25+ points and 2+ steals (70th career). Edwards is now tied with Luka Dončić for the fifth-most 25+ point/2+ steal games in NBA history by a player aged 23 or younger.

• Edwards had 13 points in the first quarter of tonight’s contest, marking his 53th 10+ point quarter of the season (277th career). He has now recorded a 10+ point quarter in his last four outings.
• Naz Reid ended the night with 22 points, a season-high-tying 13 rebounds and a block, marking his fifth double-double of the season (22nd career). The Wolves are now 4-1 when Reid records a double-double this season and 15-7 all-time. Since being inserted into the starting lineup on Feb. 1, Reid is averaging 18.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest all of which would be career-high averages per game across a single season.
• Reid grabbed seven of his 12 rebounds in the second quarter, marking a season-high and tying his career-high for rebounds in a single quarter (3x; MR: Dec. 3, 2022, vs. Oklahoma City; fourth quarter).
• Rudy Gobert added 20 points on 10-of-14 shooting, a game-high 14 rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block, marking his 25th double-double of the season (465th career) and his fifth such game in his last six outings. Tonight mark’s Gobert’s 114th double-double in a Timberwolves’ uniform, the fifth-most point/rebound double-doubles in franchise history, approaching Al Jefferson (120 point/rebound double-doubles) for the fourth spot on the Timberwolves all-time list.
• Gobert is the seventh player in franchise history and first since Karl-Anthony Towns (Nov. 28, 2017, vs. Washington) to finish a game with 20+ points on zero free throws attempted and 14+ rebounds.
• With Edwards scoring 28 points, and Gobert adding 20 points, tonight marked the second time this season Edwards and Gobert each scored 20+ points in a game and the 10th time the duo each scored 20+ points in a game since Gobert joined Minnesota prior to the 2022-23 season.
• Jaden McDaniels chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds and a game-high three blocks, marking his third game this season with 10+ points and 3+ blocks (20th career). McDaniels becomes the seventh player in franchise history to record 20+ games with 10+ points and 3+ blocks and the third player in franchise history to do so aged 24 or younger.
• Terrence Shannon Jr. came off the bench to record 29:19 minutes of action, finishing with 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, five rebounds and a game-high six assists, all of which are season-highs. Tonight also marks Shannon Jr.’s first 10+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season.
Team Notes
• In tonight’s contest against the Bucks, Minnesota grabbed a season-high-tying 59 rebounds, the fourth time this season recording 55+ rebounds, the 98th time doing so in franchise history and the 18th time doing so in the Chris Finch era (Feb. 22, 2021).
• The Timberwolves grabbed 15 offensive rebounds tonight, the 11th time this season finishing with 15+ offensive boards.
• Minnesota outscored Milwaukee 56-34 in paint points, marking the eighth time this season the Wolves have scored 55+ points in the paint and the 106th time doing so during the Finch era.
