Snow and cold return

A blizzard warning remains in effect all morning in northwestern Minnesota, from Moorhead and Detroit Lakes up to the Canadian border. Around half a foot of blowing snow could add to heavy accumulations overnight. Weather officials warn of whiteout conditions this morning.

Cooler temperatures will stick around this week.  For those of us who like to exercise outside, even in winter, are advised to do so with caution…

Lauren Loberg with Tria Orthopedics says to dress in layers and make sure you’re visible to motorists if you’re running after dark. And she says one key thing people sometimes forget when exercising outdoors during cold weather–stay hydrated.
