A late fall snowstorm lashing northern Minnesota is being blamed as a possible factor in two traffic deaths. One was in the Brainerd area, and searchers in northeast Minnesota recovered a body after a semi drove off an overpass on slippery I-35 near Scanlon early Friday morning and went into the Saint Louis River. The victims’ names in the two fatal crashes have not been released. The State Patrol reported more than a hundred crashes and 125 spinouts statewide.
