Soccer a big hit in Vikings’ new stadium

soccer1(Minneapolis, MN)  —  The brand new Vikings stadium hosted its first major event last night when more than 64-thousand fans watched an international soccer game.   Chelsea beat A-C Milan (muh-LAHN) by a 3-1 score in an International Champions Cup match.

soccer2There were a few hiccups in the stadium’s new opening, but nothing too major.  City officials were able to put the public transportation system to a test.  The first N-F-L game to be played at the new stadium will be a Vikings preseason game against San Diego on August 28th.
