Republicans’ state convention in Duluth continues today, after the intra-party split over Donald Trump boiled over on opening day Friday. Delegate Walter Hudson proposed a resolution to tell Republicans statewide it’s okay to have a problem with a candidate, “but please, stay in our party,… continue to donate… and get our down-ballot candidates elected.” The Central Committee rejected the resolution at the urging of delegate Bob Katrow, who supports Trump. “If you guys don’t get your heads together and vote for him,” Katrow says, “we’re gonna lose and we’re gonna look at a terrible, terrible future.”
