(Minneapolis, MN) — A philosophy professor at Saint Cloud State University has pleaded guilty in federal court to illegally smuggling elephant ivory and exporting rhinocerus horns from the U-S. Prosecutors say Yiwei (Steve) Zheng operated an on-line business known as Crouching Dragon Antiques and allege that he illegally imported and exported items with market value in excess of one million dollars. Zheng will be sentenced in May and faces up to 10 years in prison and a half-million-dollar fine.
