A Saint Paul man died after a swimming accident Tuesday on the Saint Croix River at Hudson, Wisconsin. W-E-A-U Television reports the 19-year-old man was having trouble swimming and an 18-year-old Bloomington man tried to rescue him. That man was pulled from the river unconscious and not breathing. Emergency crews revived him, but the body of the other man wasn’t recovered until an hour later and he was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Names have not yet been released.
