Minnesotans are split on how to spend the state’s 1.2 billion dollar budget surplus. A Star Tribune Minnesota poll finds 30-percent of respondents want the money refunded to taxpayers. About the same number of people want the state to save the surplus. And the remaining 31-another say spend it on roads and schools. This year’s legislative session kicks off March 8th.
