State Fair announces drive-thru food parade

July 22, 2020 By Scott Peterson

It looks like you’ll be able to get some of your favorite State Fair food this summer after all. The State Fair’s Danielle Dullinger says”we’ve been having a ton of people reaching out asking if there are ways to still experience some part of the fair, especially the food. so our staff concocted the Minnesota State Fair Food Parade which is a drive-thru experience, it’s very historic, never been done before here at the fair.” The Food Parade will feature 16 vendors on the fairgrounds and allow visitors to get their State Fair “food fix” from the comfort of their vehicles. The parade will run August 20th through the 23rd, 27th through the 30th and September 3rd through the 7th. Tickets must be bought in advance and go on sale at 10 am Friday, July 31st at mnstatefair.org. Participating food vendors include: Turkey to Go, Tom Thumb Donuts, Mouth Trap Cheese Curds, Pronto Pups, Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar, Fresh French Fries, Sweets & Treats, Que Viet, Pitchfork Sausage/Butcher Boys London Broil, Dairy Goodness Bar by Midwest Dairy, West Indies Soul Food, Foot Long Hot Dogs & Corn Dogs, Giggles’ Campfire Grill, Cheese On-AStick and Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade, The Hangar and El Sol Mexican Foods.
