Minnesota House lawmakers are wrapping up their tour of northeastern Minnesota projects vying for state bonding dollars with stops today in Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Hill City and Zimmerman. Capital Investment Committee Chairman Dean Urdahl from Grove City says statewide, “We have three to four billion [dollars] in requests and I still don’t know how big the bill is going to be, but I would anticipate it will be less than a billion dollars.” Decisions on *which* projects are funded will be made by the 2018 Legislature. The committee hears pitches from metro area projects in mid-October.
