Rep. John Lesch (D-St. Paul)
A group of lawmakers meets at the State Capitol this afternoon (3-5pm) to continue work on a bill that would make it illegal to post so-called “revenge porn” on the Internet. State Representative John Lesch from Saint Paul says there are all kinds of things that revenge porn can be used for that should, based on common sensibilities, be against the law. He says it’s sometimes used as blackmail to get a better arrangement in a custody dispute. Lesch expects the group will have a bill ready for introduction in the 2016 session which begins in early March.
