Politically active Minnesotans and those who are just curious are getting ready for Tuesday night’s precinct caucuses, when they can weigh-in on their preference for Minnesota governor. The most recent poll showed Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson front runner in the Republican field, but former Governor Tim Pawlenty is thinking about jumping in.
As for the Democratic field, Carleton College Professor Steven Schier says it’s “wide open and conflictual.” First District Congressman Tim Walz was the front runner in the latest poll. Most of his challengers are from the Twin Cities area.
