Suspect sought in death of infant, kidnapping of toddler

Authorities are looking for a suspect in the death of a 21-month-old boy and in the kidnapping of a five-year-old child.

24-year-old Nelson Soto-Lopez is a suspect in the death of the infant in Blaine at around 7 am this morning. Soto-Lopez is also accused of walking away from a residence in Arden Hills with five-year-old  Cristal Agular at around 9:30 am. Soto-Lopez is an Hispanic male and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. Officials believe Soto-Lopez may be attempting to leave the Twin Cities metro area.

Anyone with information on Soto-Lopez’ whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1.
