Talbot and Wild slip past Knights in Vegas

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Cam Talbot made 35 saves in 65 minutes and was perfect in the shootout as the Wild took the extra point from the Golden Knights in a 3-2 shootout win.  Jared Spurgeon scored on the power play in the third to tie the game at 2-2 then in the shootout, Kevin Fiala gave scored the only goal, Talbot stopped all three he faced, and the Wild stopped a two game losing streak.  The Wild also stopped a five game skid on the road and improved to 16-5-2 in their last 23 games overall.  The Wild and Knights will face each other again on Saturday night at 8 P-M from T-Mobile Arena.
