Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz told cheering supporters in Saint Paul last night, “Mark my words, we are not gonna weaken, we are not gonna degrade ISIS. We are going to utterly destroy ISIS!” Cruz’s visit came two days after Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton unveiled her counter-terrorism plan in Minneapolis while taking a shot at Cruz: “Promising to carpet-bomb until the desert glows doesn’t make you sound strong. It makes you sound like you’re in over your head,” Clinton said. Cruz last night said if elected he will go to Congress and “we will repeal every word of Obamacare,” replacing it with common sense health care reform that’s personal, portable and affordable — and keeps government from getting between Americans and their doctors.
