Tensions are high following an officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis that took the life of 24-year-old Jamar Clark. Protests continued last night outside the police department’s Fourth Precinct headquarters, not far from where Clark was shot early Sunday. Officers released pepper spray in an effort to push crowds back. Demonstrators blocked entrances to the precinct calling it a “no cop zone.” Meanwhile the head of the Minneapolis police union is revealing more information about the shooting. President Bob Kroll says Clark was trying to grab one of the officer’s guns when he was shot. Kroll also claims Clark wasn’t handcuffed, witnesses argue otherwise. Family members of Clark continue to push for authorities to release any video’s of the shooting and hold those involved accountable.
