Thielen announces second annual Charity Softball Game

December 15, 2022 By Minnesota News Network

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen has helped lead his team to a winning record this season. In May, he’ll be working towards a different victory – winning his Annual Thielen Foundation Charity Softball Game, presented by Choice Bank.

Thielen and his foundation announced that the fan-favorite, celebrity-filled softball game will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at CHS Field.

The softball game raises money for the Thielen Foundation’s mission to serve, educate and inspire underserved youth, and offers fans the opportunity to watch stars from the Minnesota Vikings show off their softball skills.

Tickets for what will be the 2nd annual event are available online at thielenfoundation.org and range from $5-$50.

Those who purchase tickets in advance will be entered to win a variety of prizes. The earlier you buy your tickets, the greater your chances are to win. Prizes will be awarded at the event or mailed to winners if they are unable to redeem on-site at the softball game.

• The first 500 people to purchase tickets get entered to win an autographed jersey from Thielen.
• The first 1500 people to purchase tickets get entered to win an autographed helmet from Thielen.
• The first 2500 people to purchase tickets get entered to win a VIP upgrade, which includes an all-inclusive reception and photo opportunity with Thielen.
• All 5000 ticket purchasers get entered to win an autographed football from Thielen.

Earlier this year, Thielen and his team won the game in dramatic fashion with Vikings wide receiver K.J Osborn hitting a walk-off homerun to earn a 17-14 win. Many of the players are expected to return in support of the Thielen Foundation.

“Everyone had a blast,” said Thielen. “It is important to me to give back to the community where I grew up and it means the world to me to see everyone come out and support my foundation.”

In addition to individual tickets, sponsorships are also available for the charity softball game. These include group ticket packages and other exclusive benefits, including tickets to the VIP reception and meet and greet with Thielen in Securian Financial Club following the game. Companies and individuals can contact amy@capture-se.com or (262) 696-5177 for sponsorship information.
