Thielen goes on COVID/Injured List

November 24, 2020 By Minnesota News Network

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings have placed star wide receiver Adam Thielen of Detroit Lakes on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The team has not disclosed whether he tested positive or came in close contact with someone who did. Thielen is coming off his best game of the season, logging eight catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns. The Vikings are slated to welcome the Panthers to U-S Bank Stadium on Sunday. Thielen’s availability for that game will be determined later in the week. With or without Thielen, Minnesota looks to bounce back from a 31-28 loss to the Cowboys that snapped their three-game winning streak. Minnesota is 4-6 on the season, while Carolina is 4-7.
