Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, finishing with a team-high 32 points on 12-of-26 from the field, a team-high-tying nine rebounds and a team-high six assists. Tonight marks Edwards’ fourth 30+ point game of the 2025 playoffs (14th career). Tonight also marked his 10th 20+ point game of this year’s playoffs (30th career). His 30 career 20+ point playoff games rank second in franchise history behind Kevin Garnett (31).
• With his team-high-tying nine rebounds and a team-high six assists tonight against the Thunder, tonight marks Edwards’ second 30+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the 2025 playoffs (10th career).
• At the 6:47 mark of the third quarter, Edwards connected on a hook shot to give him 1,051 career playoff points (currently at 1,065), passing Garnett (1,049) for the most points in the playoffs in Timberwolves history. Garnett accomplished the feat at 49 career playoff games, while Edwards did so tonight in his 39th career playoff game.
• Edwards tied or led the Wolves tonight in points, rebounds and assists, the second time in his career doing so in the playoffs, joining Garnett (13 times) as the only players in team history to lead/tie the team in points, rebounds and assists multiple times.
• Edwards has now scored at least 15 points in all 39 playoff games in which he’s appeared, passing Oscar Robertson (38) for the fourth-longest streak to begin a career in NBA history. The top three on that list are Michael Jordan (179), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (97) and Karl Malone (47).

• Jaden McDaniels ended tonight’s game with 22 points 8-of-15 shooting, including a 2025 playoff-high 4-of-8 from deep and three blocks. Tonight marks McDaniels’ third 20+ point game of the 2025 playoffs (eighth career) and his third career game with 4+ made threes.
• McDaniels, who surpassed 10 postseason blocks tonight (currently at 12 blocks) is the first player in NBA history to have 10+ made threes and 10+ blocks in each of the first three postseasons of their career.
