(Detroit, MI) — The Twins finished their series in Detroit on Thursday and got blown out 11-0 by the Tigers. The Tigers held a slight 1-0 lead through three innings but started to pour it on starting in the fourth inning when they put three more on the board including a two run homer by Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson. From there the rout was on as the Tigers take two of three in the series. Zebby Matthews pitched six innings for Minnesota giving up seven runs on nine hits. The Twins have lost four of their last five and six of their last eight.
